The Kentucky Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologists (KSNMT) is the local connection for nuclear medicine and molecular imaging professionals in Kentucky. The KSNMT provides the perfect setting for technologists to network with other professionals throughout the state and region with two continuing education meetings each year.
The KSNMT is also the state advocacy organization for nuclear medicine and molecular imaging professionals in Kentucky. The KSNMT was actively involved in the process to have nuclear medicine and molecular imaging professionals recognized as a specialty separate from radiographic technologists in Kentucky. Several KSNMT members helped to establish the initial requirements and standards by which nuclear medicine and molecular imaging professionals are licensed in the state and continue to assist with revisions to these standards as our profession grows.
